I have one issue only with this car...When you roll the window down it make an ear hurting loud thundering noise that is unbearable. Keep your windows up.

We have a fully optioned GT with inferno red exterior, tan interior and tan top. We decided on PT because wife liked comfort of high seating positon. This car attracts more attention than any car I have owned. We didnt buy it for that reason, but has turned out that way. Kids to the elderly are fascinated by it. I am amazed how people will go out of their way to talk to us about the car. Nearly all conversations end with them saying: "I bet you have fun in that car" We do! We live in central Florida and the top is nearly always down. The car has given us no problems, initial quality was good. We have had a good dealership experience. Of course, it is a small town dealer we know.

Ive had the car since mid July, and even though I live in the midwest Ive had the roof down almost every day. It is so much fun to drive, handles as well as my last car (a dodge avenger). My only drawback was that it took seven weeks to come in with my special order.

Well the quality of the PT Cruiser surprised my wife and me, we have taken a few trips and the ride was very good and the gas performance was not that great at first, but the more the cruiser is driven the better gas mileage it is getting.

Only had my cruiser for one month and cant wait to use the convertible more often...Ive had so many compliments on the look of the car. It is very comfortable and spacious riding in the front, but the TRUNK is much too small! The trunk hatch-door should go straight upward more so you dont have to lean over to put stuff in it. Turbo is better than my non-turbo previously owned. You should have YELLOW for color choice.

  • Sad the lease is up - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I purchased my 5spd GT w/heated seats nearly 3 years ago and am sad my time with the car is coming to an end. Overall, this is a great vehicle to own if you live in a snowy area since it is FWD and very heavy. While many others have complained of poor fuel economy, I have found the winter traction trade off worth the thirst the vehicle has for premium fuel. In fact, I motored by many SUV this past winter stuck in the ice and snow; the car just cannot be stopped in the snow. I have had few mechanical problems with the car, nothing more then I had with my previous two Honda’s. I am shopping this week, and will drive the Eos and Solara, but think I will purchase another.

I just purchased the pt turbbo conv cruiser .....Fun to drive good looking sports car feel . Has a nice punch with the turbo ..Only two complaints i have are the lack of ability to get into the trunk without bending down really low ...And the seats are a tad bit shallow in the front could be about 3 inches more in length other than that its a cool car and we love it !

I love this car. The fuel economy could be better but I have driven this car to Miami from Rhode Island and was comfortable the whole time. My mother drives a convertible BMW and she loves my car better than hers.

Very roomy and adaptable with fold down seats; can fit quite a bit in the back! lots of interior extras; love the moon roof! Its so comfortable, smooth ride, turbo engine gives it lots of power, spirit and whoooosh! The most fun car Ive ever driven! Id thought of getting a VW but once test driving the PT w/Turbo I was sold! Its so cute too! Mine is Inferno red..My "Wild Cherry Mobile"!
